Bowl Feeder Installation

Lately we've been remembering some of our past installations on FlashBackFriday via Twitter. This week we thought that we'd give you an insight into some of our current work. We work with Cake & Biscuits quite regularly and have recently supplied them with a Bowl Feeder.
This system is used to feed and orientate various types of lids. It's compromised of a lid placer, lid secure, with the ability to pick and place into trays and tray dispenser. 

In the video embedded, you can see how the Vibratory Bowl Feeder sorts the lids and allows them to be picked and placed. This machine, with single line capper, is capable of sifting through and organising up to 25 per minute. For a different perspective on this mechanism you can see more here.

What's Been Happening in July?

It's been a busy time to be working at Autopak Machinery this month. We've been engrossed in producing a variety of things, especially for our customers over at Flexcrete. Flexcrete offer an array of products, including technical mortars and high performance coatings, with a particular specialism in concrete repair and protection.

While Flexcrete have succeeded in the creation of innovative products, they need an effective and accurate way of packaging them, which is where we come in. We've provided a Combi Packer with Bag Flattener to help manage the process with ease.

Our Combi Packer is used to bag substances that are sticky yet compact easily, which makes it a perfect fit for the job.  The substances are moved by using a centreless auger and air. Though, there is another system available that utilises a vibrating plate to sit in the product. This means that the chamber will not be effected, so compaction can be avoided.  

We also manufacture Twin Combi Packers, made from Stainless Steel as can be seen here. The machine is ideal for packing substances like fertilizer into valve sacks.

What's Been Happening in June?

Summer's here, the sun is shining and our workshop has been comparable to an oven at times, but our engineers are powering on with manufacturing a variety of machinery to the highest standard, as always! 

This month at Autopak we've been focussing on the production of two Automated Bag Placers along with a Portable Ultrasonic Sealer. In addition to this our engineers have also been busy reconditioning a palletiser.

And here's one of the finished products. One Portable Ultrasonic Sealer complete with a demonstrating engineer! Ash shows us the placement of the paper bags it's capable of sealing.
